An economist by training (Paris Dauphine) and a graduate of the Collège des Hautes Etudes de l’Environnement et du Développement Durable (Centrale/Agro Paris Tech), Thomas Busuttil has extensive experience in the reflection and implementation of sustainable strategy and innovation approaches, which he acquired in particular in his capacity as Director of Sustainable Development at Vinci, Kering and SFR. He also created the SFR Foundation for Equal Opportunity, of which he was a director and one of the co-founders and directors of the Collège des Directeurs du Développement Durable. Finally, he has entrepreneurial experience, having founded his own firm Imagin’able, now R3 Imagin/able, which focuses on sustainable and regenerative innovation strategies and approaches.
Starting from an analysis of new sustainable business models (functional, circular, collaborative and inclusive), he has developed a positive innovation methodology based on design thinking tools revised and enriched to be “”natively”” sustainable.
He has published several studies on positive innovation: “”how to rethink your business thanks to new economic models”” and more recently on the concept of re/generating enterprise.
He has accompanied many cosmetic companies such as L’Oréal, Uriage, Melvita, L’Occitane Group, Albéa, etc. in their CSR strategies and positive and sustainable innovation approaches.
