Mission Longevity, beauty at the frontiers of transhumanism

Wednesday 14 June
11:30

Until now often considered as a fantasy, transcending human limits to create an “augmented man” is becoming more and more popular with the general public. Determined to take back control of their lives, a horde of consumers is (re)setting out to reverse the course of time. The return of empowerment, bodybuilding, the call to high-level sports muses, the explosion of aesthetic interventions, or even speeches such as that of Kim Kardashian who, in April, said she was ready to eat excrement to look younger, are all signs that we are not all ready to accept the passing of time.

In a preventive approach for the youngest or in a combative approach for the oldest, the mission of longevity is boundless. Neurosciences, biotechnologies, generative AI, cellular, genetic or regenerative medicine, cures of extreme rejuvenation are being implemented in a process of self-fabrication.
