In her 20+ years at FIT, Virginia Bonofiglio has spearheaded the development of the only Fragrance Studio on a US college campus at the Fashion Institute of Technology, part of the State University of New York. She created and teaches much of the specialized curriculum for the Cosmetic & Fragrance Marketing Program, and produced, in conjunction with the Givaudan Corporation, a specialized Certificate Program in Perfumery. With over 40 years of industry experience, Virginia Bonofiglio brings a wealth of cosmetic and fragrance marketing experience, beauty business know-how, brand strategy proficiency and corporate management capabilities to her leadership of the Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing Department at FIT She trained in perfumery at the Givaudan Corporation, expanding her portfolio with many executive positions throughout her career where she developed fragrances and designed products for a wide variety of product categories, including personal care, fine fragrance, home care and decorative cosmetics.
